A Study of the Changes from a Failed 2011 Say on Pay Vote In 2011, a total of 36 companies in the current Russell 3000 failed their Say on Pay vote. Since then, the companies have had a full year to implement changes and test the impact of those changes with another Say on Pay vote. Equilar analyzed the types of compensation and governance policy amendments that these companies made in response to their 2011 Say on Pay failures. Observing these amendments may provide information about not only what has been changed, but may also provide information on the changes we may see from the companies that failed their vote in 2012. |
